Become Aidan, a three-armed mutant who hunts the most dangerous bounties in the galaxy. Catch, slice, dice and destroy enemies in this exciting 2D platformer with a space-western setting.

The galaxy’s inhabitants have been swamped by crime since the fall of the empire. Being able to find anyone, anywhere has become a highly prized skill.

Aidan is a three-armed bounty hunter who must hunt down the most dangerous and elusive cutthroats in the galaxy.

Some bounties are rewarded with money, others with valuable information that Aidan can use to find the people who set him on this path – all while getting embroiled in a galaxy-wide conspiracy.

Having three arms lets you deal with more enemies at once and makes for a persuasive argument in any scuffle. Use your third arm to perform targeted attacks and throws, manipulate the environment, destroy obstacles, and wreck enemies.

Me Playing – Do you think you could play the audio (at low volume) to the game when we play the video for the stream? It is muted enough that I think the podcast listeners would enjoy it as background music and may help set the mood.

Hey Scott!

Oh hi Scott, Jon, and Beau…. Jon Beau….. this is Brian Dunaway from the Indie Gaming Podcast The Boop Show that I cohost with Scott Johnson Weekly on Monday’s at 3:30 PM Mountain Time . plugged!

So I got a question for my fellow elite gamers here on core. What do you think about a top down isometric 3d view, base building, survival game with Action-RPG elements set on the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy…oh hi God…. playing as an elite commando/scientist named Ashley who is running about in a pretty sweet mech with a snark AI “They call me Mr. Riggs” all while trying not to die on a hostile alien planet hacking and slashing the local flora and fauna and anything else that gets in the way. Yes, No…Maybe…ya don’t know.

Well too bad because that is exactly what I played this week. So run to the closest one way Rift Portal and pack some clean undies because Galatea 37 is awaiting for you with all of its Zerg Rushes, Random Environmental Disasters and Hordes of Aliens just waiting to destroy everything you build. Over and over and over again.

Oh yeah…in your down time you get to collect some resources, reinforce your base defenses and explore a variety of biomes with unique creatures that will push your tech research tree and weapon’s crafting skills to the limit.

Hey! Why is this called The Riftbreaker when you are so obviously Rift Making….cause that is really the whole point… to build a Rift Portal to connect back to earth so you can go get the hell out of there. You made bad life choices Ashley!

Anywho I gave this game 8 squished alien bugs out of 10 alien lifeform eradications

Boop’s Patented 10 Point Rating System
Art/Animation: Rich and detailed enviroments with some pretty intense horde animations.
Music/Effects: You know you are playing some Action-RPG
V/O: I like it. Some unique voices. Good V/O
World Building: You are the world builder. It is fine. They leave a good bit to the imagination.
Currency/Loot: Resources and Energy
AI/NPCs: Seems to do the job.
Controls: It gets complicated. Controller is possible. If you are good at it…good for you. I had to use the keyboard and mouse.
Interface/HUD: It is all there. But there is so much!
Replay/Endgame: Lots of replay value if you like this type of game and its game loop
– They put the Action in Action RPG
– Looks good. Plays good. If you like this type of game you are going to probably like this game.
– Tedious repair process.
– Too often I ended up knocking out the power to an area because I placed something over a power nodule. Just don’t let me place something there then I will know.
8 squished alien bugs out of 10 alien lifeform eradications…humans…am I right
