BRIEF

Unforgiven (1992) follows William Munny (Clint Eastwood), a retired outlaw and widower struggling to care for his children on a failing farm. Tempted by a bounty on cowboys who disfigured a prostitute, Munny teams with his old friend Ned Logan (Morgan Freeman) and a hotheaded young gunslinger. Their quest leads them to Big Whiskey, where they clash with Sheriff “Little Bill” Daggett (Gene Hackman), a ruthless lawman determined to keep order—by any means. Directed by Clint Eastwood, this Oscar-winning Western explores the harsh realities of frontier justice and the haunted souls who deliver it.
