Storytelling

Often, my waking mind will travel to far off places of mystery and wonder and I like to journal those experiences into semi-lucid stories that solidify over time.

My method? Write a complete story with beginning, middle and end with as little embellishment as possible. Revisit the story later when time permits and fill in the exciting details!

My current project is a collection of stories called The Marionette Stories. Inspired by morality stories like you would find in Aesop Fables, Mother Goose, The Bible, One Thousand and One Nights, Grimms’ Fairy Tales and so forth. The primary focus is the dangers of expecting free will but refusing to accept responsibility for our choices and blaming others for the results.
